IITJEE Online Extensive Test Series
- The details below are meant primarily for IIT JEE 2010/2011. Some specific information about 2012 (9th)/2013 (10th) test series is provided here .
- Powered by world class customised Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). The system is the modified version of the system used by IIT, IIMs and thousands of institutes worldwide. We have customised it for IIT JEE.
- The system is 100% browser based, requiring no software installation. Besides convenience, this also implies that tests can be taken via many mobile smartphones.
- No need to spend time in travelling just to give tests, this travel time can be better utilised in preparation.
- The only online testing system capable of doing all types of complex grading automatically according to the IIT JEE new pattern including the marking introduced in 2008 based on row based matrix match grading and modified in JEE 2009. A similar idea of option based grading was introduced by us in 2006 in more than one correct answers correct type of questions as we believed it was a fairer method to do the marking as it assigned partial marks and such questions based on option based grading have been used in OETS-06/07/08/09.
- Not just a testing system but a system to learn and improve. Previous attempts are stored and students are allowed to review them later whenever they want to.
- Immediate result.
- Doubt
removal by interactive built-in messaging/discussion system and also
via audio-visual discussions (in some questions hints/solutions
automatically appear after taking test).
- Innovative
grading and question types designed to test comprehension, reasoning
& analytical abilities included (including JEE 2009/2008/2007/2006 pattern
questions and marking). Innovative type questions include optionless questions, options-based marking (as mentioned above), logical arrangement (these types have been used in CAT and there is emphasis on reasoning in new pattern JEE) etc.
- Built-in countdown timer.
- Built-in feedback system.
- Built-in performance monitoring system.
- Tests activated earlier are available to new joiners.
- No need to remain online for the full duration of the test.
- Flexibility of taking test at any time after activation.
- Large
number of tests in total including topic-wise and full-syllabus tests.
There were a total of 52 tests (43 topic-wise and 9
full-syllabus) for 2009 course. For other courses, the exact number will depend on the JEE official annoucement.
- Very useful for AIEEE also, especially after the new pattern is introdued in AIEEE 2008. AIEEE 2009 came one more step closer to IIT JEE.
The fee details are provided here . Note:The
tests require you to be online for some time and not for the whole
duration. Your login account (user name and password) will be created
and will be communicated to you after your enrolment. In case you have
already created your login account (user name and password), it will be
activated after your enrolment. A guideline is provided for cut-off and
for highest marks based on % marks using IIT JEE statistics of past
years which can be used as performance evaluation yardstick.
